ROAD AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN MEBAIREEK (ZONE 81) PACKAGE 1 AND 2 PROJECT
The project provides upgrades to the local roads, drainage, underground utilities and other related streetscape facilities such as kerbing, lighting, footways and landscaping. The purpose is to bring the infrastructure up to the national standards and comply with the Qatar Highway Design Manual
(QHDM).
The project will provide solutions to significant traffic issues and existing hazards to pedestrian and cyclist which are of particular concern within the retail commercial district. Enhancements to the streetscape are proposed which will make the road corridors more attractive and livable for the residents and other users.
